Who Do You Want Running Your Life?

I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “Lord of the Moment” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from 2 Kings 8:1–6 with the key verse, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps” Proverbs 16:9. James Banks wrote this devotion. My brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I have first-hand knowledge of the lesson in this devotion. God does work for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). I went through a spiritual and kingdom change. I was blessed with a loving wife and family. He gave me a new life and purpose. Our lives are better off in God’s hands.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of my life. Help me to be Your faithful servant.
