Awkward Circumstances

I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “God’s Hidden Hand” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Psalm 139:13–18 with the key verse, “All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalm 139:16. Poh Fang Chia wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. What I get from this devotion is that God is always in control, even when you do see Him. He has a plan for each of us before we are born. We make plans, but God controls our fate. God uses circumstances in our life to direct us. I am glad and I trust Him completely.

Dear Lord, help me to trust You even when I don’t understand.
