Remember Who We Are

I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “The Lord’s” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Isaiah 44:1–5 with the key verse, “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children” Romans 8:16. Dave Branon wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I love the devotions this time of the year because it keeps us focus on Jesus, our Lord and Savior. All who have come to God through Jesus can say that they belong to Him. We are His people, His sheep, His offspring, His inheritance, His dwelling. Keep all these things in mind as you celebrate Christmas. Knowing that we are God's children has changed our lives. Let us introduce others to Christ during this Christmas season.
