I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “The “Hope for a Baby” Tree” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Lamentations 3:1–3, 13–24 with the key verse, “His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22–23. Elisa Morgan wrote this devotion. My brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. This passage is right for all us. Here all a couple; Please God, let me win the lottery, please help me to land this job, or Paul's prayer that his affliction is taken away. There are times when we earnestly pray for something, and it appears that God never answers or at a later time. He will always do what is best for us, even if His answer is no. His ways and thinking are far above ours.
Dear God, help me trust You today even when I can’t see what You are doing. You are faithful.
May God bless you and the best reason for hope is God’s faithfulness.
