I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “Walking in the Light” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Hebrews 12:18–24 with the key verse, “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.” John 1:4. Lawrence Darmani wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, before I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. When we look at our sinful nature, it is dark, stormy, scary, and judgement and death awaits. Jesus is the light that penetrates the darkness of our sinful nature. When you become a believer, Jesus' light replaces the darkness of your sinful nature, and you have the light of life. When I turned my life over to Jesus, fear, darkness, and turmoil instantly disappeared. I am a child of God.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for bringing me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Help me to avoid the darkness to continue walking in the light toward eternity.

May God bless you, and may you find the peace that I now have.
