I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “Hope’s Sure Foundation” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Hebrews 11:1–6 with the key verse, “My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus", Philippians 4:19. James Banks wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, before I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. The lesson from this article is faith. According to The bible, faith is “faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”, (Hebrews 11:1). What this means is the confidence and assurance that God is faithful to keep His promises to all who believe and come to Him through Jesus. Having faith is difficult, but you can rest in God’s goodness and His loving character, to trust that His wisdom is perfect in all things, even when you have to wait.

Almighty Father, thank You for Your faithfulness to always take care of us. Help us to trust You and to rest in Your perfect love today.
