I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “Deeper Love” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from 1 Peter 4:7–11 with the key verse, “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8. James Banks wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, before I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. This is about love, gifts, and forgiveness. Peter talked to his followers about God's love that covers a multitude of sins. We can take from God's love to forgive others. When we love others because our Savior loves them and forgive because He has forgiven us, God gives us strength to let go of the past and walk forward with Him into beautiful new places of grace.

Dear God, give us strength to let go of the past and walk forward with you into beautiful new places of grace.

May God bless you and give you the strength to let go of the past and walk forward with Him into new places of grace.
