I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “Love Changes Us” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Acts 9:1–22 with the key verse, “At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God." Acts 9:20. Xochitl Dixon wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, before I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. As the author of this devotion, I was hurt and angry with everyone. I was hurt over my Dad leaving. I took my anger out on everyone. I was blind to the truth about God's love and healing powers. I know now that people like my Mom prayed for me. I became a Christian. Soon after, my life was changed. Through God's love, I was able to forgive and have a close relationship with my Dad and other people. People notice how Christ’s love change me over time, and I told others what He did for me.
