I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “Seen by God” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Genesis 16:7–14 with the key verse, “She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, I have now seen the One who sees me..” Genesis 16:13. Patricia Raybon wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, before I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I know how Patricia felt. When I tried my first pair of glasses, it was like seeing the world for the first time. The world is big and we can feel very small, unseen and insignificant. God sees each of us, and we can see in Him our ever-present hope, encouragement, salvation, and joy for today and our future.

Lord, I’m just one person in a big world, but I thank You for looking from on high and seeing me—so that I may see You.

May God bless you, and thank Him for looking from on high and seeing you—so that you may see Him.
