wp:paragraph I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “The Spirit of Fika” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Luke 24:28–35 with the key verse, “When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them.” Luke 24:30. Patricia Raybon wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, before I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. Having dinner together is always special. It is the only time the whole family is in one place. We fellowship and share stories. This has been a long tradition in my house. We passed it on to our children. Jesus invites us to stop our constant striving and abide in Him. Jesus is the Bread of Life. May we linger at His table and find more of Him.

Lord, thank You for making time and room for us to abide at Your table.

May God bless you and may you abide at Jesus' table.
