I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Seeing the Light” The scripture is taken from Matthew 4:12-25 with the key verse, “On those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned." Isaiah 9:2. Mart DeHaan wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. Who believed people like us would get a chance to show the difference between light and darkness in our own lives? I do. I was living in darkness for half my life before I met Jesus. The light of Christ turned my life around. Now I reflect Christ light to others through my Facebook, Twitters, and blogs. Now I am a child of God. There is no better feeling. I beg you come out of darkness and live in the light of Christ.
Insight: How has the light of Christ affected you? In what ways are you reflecting it to others?
May God bless you and the light of Christ affect you.
