wp:paragraph I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Out of the Trap” The scripture is from 1 Timothy 6:6–10 with the key verse, "I have learned the secret of being content" Philippians 4:12. Bill Crowder wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I have fallen into the trap of material things. I wanted the latest gadgets and the highest paying jobs to support my need for material things. Now that I am a Christian, my priorities have turned to God and serving others. Please put God first in your life. Only He can bring true contentment. Reflect: Which do you think more about—money or your relationship with God? How can you give Him the highest priority today? Prayer: Loving Lord, You are the greatest blessing of my life! Help me to live contentedly with all that You are today.
May God bless you and live contentedly with all that You are today.
