I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Victory Parade” The scripture is from 2 Corinthians 2:14–17 with the key verse, "But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession" 2 Corinthians 2:14. Lisa M. Samra wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. When I was save, I felt an immediate relief from the aroma of death. Now I live out the power of His resurrection by spreading His word through social media. I am not afraid of what this world can do to me because I know I have the power of Christ. As Paul said, we are captives as followers of Christ. If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31, (NIV). Reflect: What does Jesus’s victory on the cross mean to you? How are you living out the power of His resurrection? Prayer: Lord Jesus, you are our victorious King. May God bless you and march in His victorious procession as captives celebrating victory over death.
