Restoration And Forgiveness

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Ready for Restoration” The scripture is from Psalm 85 with the key verse, "Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?" Psalm 85:6. Arthur Jackson wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. There are signs in my life that restoration is needed. I spend money on things I really don't need. It has gotten me in financial problems from time to time. Through His restoration and forgiveness, I no longer waste money on material things, as in the past. The Lord is the God of restoration and forgiveness. He will welcomed those who turn to Him; and those who do, find safety in His arms. Reflect: Are there signs in your life that restoration is in order? What’s your response to the God of restoration?
