I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Loaves and Fishes” The scripture is from Matthew 14:13–21 with the key verse, "Jesus replied, 'They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.'” Matthew 14:16. David H. Roper wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. There are a lot of people who are in need. There are people you do not have the expertise to help. It is overwhelming. My advice is to ask God to guide you to someone for you to give a hug, a kind word, a listening ear, a brief prayer,or some wisdom you’ve gathered. Give it to Jesus and see what He can do. Reflect: What’s one need of another person that you may be able to meet? What can you give to Jesus to be used to bless others? Prayer: Jesus, give us eyes to see the ways we can care for others. Lead us and use us. May God bless you and help you find ways to care for others.
