I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Enduring Prayers” The scripture is from Revelation 8:1–5 with the key verse, "May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice” Psalm 141:2. Arthur Jackson wrote this devotion. My Children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. We are told to pray continually, without ceasing with thanksgiving to God. Now we are encouraged to what is written in Revelations 8:3-4. There is no doubt our prayers are precious to God. Reflect: When have you questioned whether God really listens to Your prayers? How can passages like Revelation 8:1–5 breathe new life into them? Prayer: Father, I thank You that You care more than we sometimes know. Help us to rest in knowing Your eyes are upon the righteous and Your ears are open to our prayers. May God bless you and hear your prayers.
