I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Beautifully Burdened” The scripture is from Matthew 11:28–30 with the key verse, "My yoke is easy and my burden is light” Matthew 11:30. Elisa Morgan wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I remember when I turned my life over to Christ how a sudden rush of relief I felt. that was me removing the yoke of sin and gilt under Satan.Taking on the yoke of freedom from sin and guilt means to live instead as subjects under Jesus' compassionate leadership in God’s life-giving kingdom. I want everyone to have this feeling. Reflect: What are you carrying today? How will you give that burden to Jesus? Prayer: Dear Jesus, please take my heavy load and lay upon me Your beautiful burden for this world. May God bless you and take your heavy load and lay upon you His beautiful burden for this world.
