I start every morning with coffee with God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread. Today’s devotion is titled “Together We Win.” Arthur Jackson wrote this devotion. The scripture reading is from Exodus 17:8–13 with the key verse, “ Two are better than one . . . : If either of them falls down, one can help the other up..”, Ecclesiastes 4:9–10. My beloved children, grandchildren, cousins, nephews, brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I first pray to God to guide my words so that it will serve as spiritual food and guidance. I desire God to be my sole source of wiring. All the credit goes to God, not me. I am his humble servant. I thank God that He led to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as my inspiration for comments.
Presently, we are a country divided. We are divided along racial views and political ideas. We are lack leaderships to help sort our differences. The collapse of our country is imminent without leadership intervention. God, in His wisdom has a plan.
His plan is The Holy Bible that teaches how to live, and The Lord Jesus Christ teaches us how to work together. The value of interdependence can never be underestimated. God, in His kindness, graciously provides people as His agents for mutual good. Listening ears and helpful hands; wise, comforting, and correcting words—these and other resources come to us and through us to others. Together we win and God gets the glory!
Reflect:
At what times in your life have you benefited from the support of others? Who might you know who needs you to run with them in this season of their life?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for those You’ve graciously provided in my life and for those You’ve allowed me to share life with for our mutual good and Your glory.
My Prayer for You:
May God bless and place people in your life to share your life.
